Much of Jacksonville was flooded yesterday following a few days of rains from Tropical storm Debby. Many areas, including those in the historic Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, were too flooded for car travel -- several sections of Park St. and Herschel were closed late Tuesday evening.
The First Coast has likely seen the worst of it, however, as Debby is moving South. It's expected to be out of the Atlantic Coast on Friday, according to the Florida Times-Union.
