Jacksonville's annual "Eat Up Downtown" special begins on Monday, August 15th and lasts for two weeks, right up until the end of August. Seventeen area restaurants, mostly fine dining restaurants downtown, are participating in the program.
Residents can purchase three-course meals for $25. Participating restaurants include Basil Thai & Sushi, Indochine, Cafe Nola, the Wine Cellar, Zodiac Bar and Grill, plus many more.

Downtown bars are also offering buy-one-get-one-free drinks during the event. The Times-Union recommends making reservations, particularly on weekends, as the turnout is expected to be quite high.
